Operator guide

Hub setup steps: devices, hosts, dashboard, and payouts.

This guide walks through fleet setup the same way Hub does, in four steps. You can follow along in the app or use Hub's optional Show me tours on each page.

Hub: your starting point

After you sign in, you land on Hub. It is not a lock-in screen. You can open Dashboard, Devices, Users, or Payments from the nav anytime. Hub is simply the best place to start and to replay guided tours when you need a refresher.

Each step shows Show me the first time (opens the page with a spotlight tour) or Open once you have completed it. The ? button replays a tour for a step you already finished.

Your host invite link is also shown on Hub. Copy it and send it to people who will host devices at their locations.

Step 1: Add devices

Where: Devices (in the nav)

Register every satellite unit in your fleet by serial number. Each device belongs to your organization only.

What to do

  1. Go to Devices and click Add.
  2. Enter the serial number for each unit you deploy.
  3. Use search and filters as the fleet grows to find devices by serial, host name, or assignment status.

After devices exist

From the device list you can Edit a row to assign a host or adjust payout split percentages between host and affiliate.

Step 2: Invite hosts

Where: Users (in the nav)

Hosts cannot join on their own without your invite link.

What to do

  1. Copy your host invite link from Hub or the Users page.
  2. Send it to each host (email, text, or your own onboarding process).
  3. The host signs in with Google and fills out the application form.
  4. Open Users → Pending to review new applications.
  5. Approve hosts you want in your fleet. Reject applications that are not a fit.

After approval

Approved hosts appear under the approved tab. From their card you can assign devices. A red indicator means no device is assigned yet, so assign one from the host card or from the Devices page.

Step 3: Monitor rewards

Where: Dashboard (in the nav)

The dashboard is your live overview of fleet performance.

What you see

  • Total rewards and daily averages for the selected time range
  • Satellite count and host/device ratio
  • Per-device drill-down when you select a serial number

Metrics are loaded from the rewards API. Use the device selector to view all devices or focus on one unit.

Step 4: Sync earnings and pay out

Where: Payments (in the nav)

Hosts request payouts from their own dashboard. You review and approve them here.

What to do

  1. Sync earnings: pull monthly token totals from the rewards API into the database. Sync before reviewing payout requests so numbers are current.
  2. Open Payout requests. Hosts submit requests when they want to be paid.
  3. Approve or reject each request based on synced earnings and your payout policy.

Payouts are settled in USDC according to your organization's configuration.

Tips

  • Tours are optional. Skip them and use Open on any Hub step when you already know the page.
  • Go to dashboard on Hub dismisses the welcome state but does not block you from returning to Hub later.
  • Keep your invite link handy; every new host needs it before their first sign-in.
